Delft Blue

“Common clay must go through the heat and fire of the furnace to become porcelain. But once porcelain , it can never become clay again.”

I said hello to Cajsa Lilliehook a week ago, and Cajsa was kind enough to invite me to check out a store that, as far as we can tell, is rather new.  Having said that, though, Liziaah is a place to check out.  The collection is small, but of definite quality.  Cajsa has already written about another ensemble from Liziaah in this same theme of Delft blue porcelain; I chose this minidress for myself.  It’s fun and flirty, and goes perfectly with the Liziaah shoes I chose — really in Delft porcelain here!  It’s not quite Cinderella, but it carries the theme through across my entirety.

To completer the look, I chose this set of collar, earrings and bracelet from Artistry by ~ E ~, in lapis and gold.  I debated over whether something in silver would be better, but the stones are the perfect matching shade for the darkest portions of the blue embroidery on my bodice here.  The hair is from Colbie from Truth, and is one of my current “versatile” favorite styles.
