This is the night mail crossing the Border,
Bringing the cheque and the postal order,
Letters for the rich, letters for the poor,
The shop at the corner, the girl next door.
Pulling up Beattock, a steady climb:
The gradient’s against her, but she’s on time.

Second Life Blogs: DPW – Department of Public Works

The Second Life Department of Public Works is reporting on progress made on the North Coast branch of the Second Life Railroad.  I’m not one that’s interested in the mechanics of engines and such, but I love railroads — have since I took a class train ride to Kalamazoo back in first grade — and I enjoy exploring the rail lines in world.  Take a look and see what’s happening on this transportation link.
