Hauling Out the Old — What a Morning!

What a morning 1

Yeesh1, what a morning this was!!!  It felt like it took me a century to find somewhere to pose; and, frankly, I found this location by fumbling my way to it.  The nice thing is that I haven’t been to the Cheeky Tiramisu Café since New Year’s a few years ago, so I haven’t done it very much.  But, once I pronounced it satisfactory for a second visit, I decided to flop down for a rest before getting to work.

What a morning 2

Once I did settle down to it, I was still so wound up that I ran off only a few shots instead of my normal 20 or 30.  But the quality ain’t too bad, and I had time to play with more of Firestorm’s camera toys, as well as my new Anypose HUD that lets you control your arms and legs and body, not just your expressions and eyes.  It’ll be a while before I start creating custom poses for myself, but this isn’t bad for a start.

Oh, what I’m wearing?  Once again, most of it is vintage.  The good thing is that most of the “most” is still available.  BAX Coen Prestige boots are, of course, still a mainstay for anyone who likes tall boots with tall heels — c’mon, what avatar among you doesn’t?  But the outfit is still available, too:  Alex Disco from Danielle.  It comes in two more colors besides the blue that this natural redhead2 favors, and I think could be worn to a party as much as on the street.  If you want, just leave the prim bow knots off.

What a morning 3

The necklace and earrings are from GeWunjo…and it’s named Harper.  Just a coincidence; I picked it up in a one-hour mad swirl of running through the recent Jewelry Fair, when I stumbled over it in GeWunjo’s shop.  (Available as separates on the Marketplace; I can’t find a SLurl for a store yet.)

What a morning 4

I love Truth Hawks’ hair, and part of me really prefers the old color selection instead of the new HUD boxes — less scripts, of course, but I think sometimes the shades had a better selection as well.  I miss his Cranberry shade, which I consider my standard red color.  Therefore never send to find where this hairstyle tolls; for it tolls no longer.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to get back to work.  I’m about to break 35,000 items in Inventory for the first time in a year or two!  (I started at nearly 41,000 items, so I’ve been a busy beaver here.)
